Have you ever wondered why there is always such a wonderful presence in the Prayer Command Center?
Think about this: Where there is continual prayer, praise, and thanksgiving...God’s presence dwells! When you come into a place where prayer takes place on a regular basis you can often sense a difference in the atmosphere. Heaviness lifts, oppression ceases because God’s presence is actually dwelling there. The Prayer Command Center is dedicated as a place of prayer, worship, meditation, and the Word of the Lord. No other activity is to go on in the prayer trailer. Our other buildings on the property are used for practices, meetings, parties, fellowship, but not the Prayer Command Center. It is where we step into the glory of the Lord and enjoy Him, speak to Him, love Him, learn of Him, and seek Him. Whether you are the only one in the prayer trailer or there are others with you, you sense His glory. Not just the atmosphere, not even just the manifest (kavod) presence, but also the dwelling (skekinah) presence of God! We have purposely, as a congregation, made a secret place to dwell with God. Not secret in the sense that no one knows about it but secret in the sense that we can go any time we want to be in a place where only communion with God is practiced. His presence truly inhabits this place of prayer. If you haven’t yet gotten into the habit of praying at the Prayer Command Center, we invite you to give yourself a time of refreshing in the presence of God. You will be amazed at how He greets you when you open the door!
