Encountering God is very simple.  It happens through faith.  “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  (Romans 10:10)

 

An Encounter Retreat is a weekend short course in freedom:  freedom from habits, bondage, bitterness, wrong thoughts, and past mistakes.  The Lord sets you free through the power of the Cross.

 

 

 

 

 

 

What does it mean to have a true encounter with God?

 

To invite Jesus to come into your life.  The Lord says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door; I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”  (Revelation 3:20)

 

To be a child of God and experience the joy of all the privileges of that relationship.

 

To have assurance that God lives within you. “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16)

 

To know that now you are not alone in this world, but you have a great Friend who will guide you into all truth.
